1. Was 2009 a good year for you?
- I think it turned out to be a pretty great all around… Looking backing…
2. What did you do in 2009 that you’d never done before?:
- I watched my sister get married, i was proposed to and cried. Hit my breaking point. Feared there was something seriously wrong with me and most importantly started the immigration process. (:
3. What was your biggest achievement of the year?:
-Not having a nervous breakdown because of all the stress.
4. What was your biggest failure?:
- Reaching what i thought was my breaking point.
5. Did you suffer illness or injury?:
-I suffered some nasty sinus issues while in Oregon. I also have ongoing issues with my body that at one point i thought could be really bad.
6. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i) happier or sadder?: happier
ii) thinner or fatter?: thinner
iii) richer or poorer?: richer all around, i thinks.
7. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2009:
- Just when you think it’s finally time to give up on someone they can change and make a complete recovery as a human being. (:
8. What do you wish you’d done more of?:
- Sex has been and will always be my answered for this. (:
9. What do you wish you’d done less of?:
- worrying.
10. What was the stupidest thing you did this year?
- Not handling something better… pettiness on my part but all is well that ends well.
10. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?:
- I turned 33, i avoided life and was pretty sad that day.
11. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?:
- Getting immigration paperwork started, knowing that this is my final year playing the role of six month a year live in sex slave. heh
12. What kept you sane?:
- family mostly.. but a strong second goes to Sara.
13. What dates from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?:
- February 13th, i got my niece.
- June 28th, i got a ring on my finger.
- July 18th, Amanda’s wedding.
- July 29, Jay’s last day here.
- September 31st, first NOA
- Decmber 15th, second NOA.
Resolutions
14. Did you keep your New Year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?:
- i dont really have any. I suck as a person – but i have some i will keep to myself.
15. What are your plans for 2010?
- To get this immigration thing finished, get married, travel a great deal and start thinking about having a family of my own.
16. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?:
- More laughs, more time waking up next to Jay.. More calmness
Friends and Family
17. Did anyone close to you give birth?:
- My little sister did… and she’s such a sweetie.. my niece that is.. not my sister. (;
18. Did anyone close to you die?:
- Nope but my dad had a pretty serious heart attack and is still working on getting back to normal. It put a lot of things into perspective for me.
19. Whose behavior merited celebration?:
My sister, Melanie. She’s come a long way this year. I couldnt be more proud of her for stepping up to the plate and hitting a great home run. I look forward to seeing what else she can overcome in the years ahead. also jay, he’s been a pretty great guy this year .. not only because he got off his ass and finally proposed but because he’s admitted a lot of things and has put a great deal of effort into changing some of the things that irk the hell out of me.
20. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?:
I think it was the way Rupert dealt with Melanie. It opened my eyes to the fact he’s not as sweet as i once thought. Though in his defense he has become a little better.
21. How did you spend Christmas?:
I spent it with family, much like most special days it doesnt seem so special without Jay.. but it worked.
22. Did you fall in love in 2009?:
- I did with miss Ellie bean.
23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?:
- I dont think i have hated anyone in a long time other than Brandon..
24. Who did you miss?:
- Mostly family and Jay, but i do miss a lot of the people that i used to spend so much time with..
25. Who was the best new person you met?:
- I am struggling to remember if i met anyone NEW this year? Oooooh Andre.. heh.Mostly i am glad to have developed better relationships with people in Oregon.
26. What was the worst lie someone told you in 2009?
- I am not sure if anyone lied to me this year. I am sure jay told me some cuz he’s always lying.. (:
27. Did somebody treat you badly in 2009?
- Not too badly. (:
Events and Things
28. What countries did you visit?:
– Just the USA .. soon to be home. Then the answer will be Canada. eeek.
29. What was the best thing you bought?:
- I am not sure i bought anything worth mentioning.. hmm
30. What did you get really, really, really excited about?:
- Crater Lake and it turned out to be for good reason. Seeing my family and NOA’s..
31. What songs will always remind you of 2009?:
- Great Lake Swimmers – Passengers song.
- Lady Gaga – Poker Face / Bad Romance.
- Kings of Leon – Use Somebody..
32. What were your favorite TV programs?:
- How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Fringe, Grey’s, Dexter..Big Brother.. many more but i did enjoy getting to know Weeds this year.
33. What was the best book you read?:
- “I Know This Much Is True” by Wally Lamb.
34. What was your greatest musical discovery?:
- Greg Laswell
35. What did you want and get?:
- I got the beginning to my happily ever after.
36. What did you want and not get?:
- I just wished the whole process would have went quicker.. still hoping for that.
37. What was your favorite film of this year?:
- I really liked Star Trek…
38. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?:
- JT as usual..
39. What political issue stirred you the most?:
- Nothing really.. But i did enjoy the whole Mayor Sam Adams scandal.

- I think it was the complete shock i felt as Jay dropped to one knee.. and i mumbled.. “Oh God.. not now”…

- I am thinking i was alone here in this room.. but i cant remember.
43. Where will you be when 2009 ends and who will you be with?
- I think me and Sam Adams will be getting friendly.. and not the mayor..
44. What was your favorite month of 2009?
-July was pretty awesome. i enjoyed watching Jay mingle with my peeps..
45. If you could go back in time to any moment of 2009 and change something what?
- As much as i liked the outcome of both. I would take back a couple things i said. I hate hurting people.
