I’m home and in one piece. I really hurt, my cold went from bad to worse. I no longer have the use of my nose as it is stuffed right full.

The Easter bunny found his way to me, two big bunnies – one Mr. Munchy. Mmm

While there my parents got on a kick about how I should try to get in contact with people I grew up with. I only talk to three people from my elementary school days. The rest of them are either strung out mothers of eight or people I never bothered with to begin with. I don’t see the need to have this link to my past. I have nothing in common with these people any more. Most of them are completely happy having babies and living off the government or selling drugs and used car parts. The people I did stay in somewhat of talking relationship are just fine. (:

Plus we all know I am happy being my anti-social self. (:

I can’t log on to msn or check my email. Arrgh. I think I’ll go crawl in MY bed and watch some TV.

Germs!

March 29th, 2002 @ 4:52 pm

I’ve been home for four weeks and did I catch a cold? No! I had plenty of chances to get some germies but no. So my first day back to work I start to get sick. So Now I am going to being sick for Easter Weekend plus my first days back to work. Oh yeah, I work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday – so much for only going back one to two days a week. I really should have known better.

Anyway enjoy your Easter Weekend and I’ll see you Sunday, If I make it through my visit home.

Friday Five

March 29th, 2002 @ 4:44 pm

Once again it’s time for the Friday Five.

1. If you could eat dinner with and “get to know” one famous person (living or dead), who would you choose? I’d say Madonna.

2. Has the death of a famous person ever had an effect on you? Who was it and how did you feel? I don’t think it’d had a ‘real ‘effect on me, but Princess Diana and John F Kennedy Jr ‘s deaths were hard to take. Seeing them so much it was as if you knew them, so in a way it was like losing a distant friend.

3. If you could BE a famous person for 24 hours, who would you choose? I am not sure I’d want to be anyway famous. (Maybe I’ll come back to this later).

4. Do people ever tell you that you look like someone famous? Who? Yeah, but I don’t want to go there. (:

5. Have you ever met anyone famous? Umm, Anne Murray?
