Guess what I did?

I went to pee after getting offline yesterday morning and rolled my ankle. I swore like a drunken sailor. So I thought it would get better, that the throbbing would sub-side. It didn’t.

I went to work hoping that once she seen poor pitiful Beverly she’d send me home. She tried to but no one was available to work my shift, so I stayed and now my foot looks like a balloon and hurts like a migraine. So I think I’ll be staying home tonight, not that I really want to lose twelve hours - but I am injured.

Melanie calls me last night and asks if I mind if she drops in for an hour. Apparently she’s going to see the Montreal Canadians and Boston Bruins in Halifax with my step-dad. I didn’t ask.

I got a good chuckle out of Robert last night on the way to work …and at the same time I don’t think I’ve ever felt so loved or important to him. He was supposed to go to a Cantel Conference Saturday, which he had forgotten all about. Anyway he ended up telling his boss he was going because it was his anniversary and he was taking his woman out for supper and such. Mike tells him to take me with him (Rob) instead of Corey (It was an over night trip) and he still refused. There was a whole more to it, but just thinking about it makes me smile

Okay – so maybe I am making a bigger deal out of this that need be, but usually I do not come first

Although for some reason he’s been extra nice this week.

I actually asked him why he was being so nice to me Tuesday; he said, “It’s our anniversary….” I said, “That’s not until this weekend”. He said, “Well we’re celebrating it all week.”

Okay, who has been fucking with his head and is this only a weeklong thing?

I guess we’ll see but I am not counting my roses yet.

I am craving change desperately.

I am feeling un-needed.

I watched Forsaken and Blow tonight, both were good movies. Forsaken surprised me though. It was meant to be a low budget teen horror flick but I actually enjoyed it

As for Blow, it’s a funny/sad/true story type movie - Rent/Buy it.

I celebrate my eight-year anniversary this coming weekend. It should be eventful; Rob is talking about having a party. I don’t feel like spending time with anyone lately.
